Gone are those days when fans used to wait in front of the Television sets to watch Virender Sehwag batting irrespective of the format. Meanwhile, yet another lad from Delhi came into the international scene, who kept the king of entertainer Virender Sehwag attached to his television. Yes, he is none other than Rishabh Pant.

The stylish southpaw has been exceptional in his knock against Windies on Friday at Rajkot. He smashed Windies bowlers to all corners of the park with an amazing strokeplay. However, he is unfortunate to miss out a hundred.

Rishabh Pant missed his century by 8 runs:

The flamboyant batsman went berserk with his willow against Windies bowling attack. He showed his class whenever the ball is on the offer to secure a boundary for the team.

However, just when things looked set for him to score his second consecutive century, he top-edged Devendra Bishoo to cover-point thus walking back with the agony in his heart.

It is also his maiden Test match in India as well. All in all, he proved his worth to the Indian team with his impressive tally of 92. Coming to the match progress, India comfortably sat in the driving position at Rajkot.
