Indian National Cricket team fans encountered problems while entering the Dubai Sports Cricket Stadium while they went to view a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match. Meanwhile, the security personnel initially stopped the fans before they allowed them to enter the stadium.

The news of the two Indian nationals stopped from entering the stadium spread like wildfire. But later on, they clarified that they entered the premises following a discussion with the security guards. However, an official of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the custodians of the tournament, later clarified that they had nothing to do with the incident as the security of the entire stadium was under the control of the local police.

We came to know about the incident and after discussions, they were allowed into the stadium to watch the match as they had valid tickets,” the official said.

Soon after the Pulwama incident, IMG-Reliance pulled out from broadcasting the Pakistan Super League. DSports who was showing the PSL games in India also decided to stop viewing the games.

Meanwhile, the relationship between the two countries has taken a wrong turn in the wake of the recent Pulwama attack. The attack has created a stir countrywide as a Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden car into a CRPF bus, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded. On the back of it, India have cut several ties with the neighbouring country. Moreover, there have been calls for India boycotting Pakistan tie in the ICC World Cup in England and Wales. However, many former cricketers also have stood against it saying that it will be detrimental for India.

In retaliation to the terror attack, today morning, Indian Air Force aircraft had violated the Line of Control in the Muzaffarabad sector to bomb terror camps. Pakistan claimed that the aircraft returned after its Air Force immediately scrambled, and they had dropped payload in haste while escaping. However, eye witness claims that no people have died during the attack leaving only one people wounded. He also added that few trees and carters suffered damage from the bomb. Pakistan also retaliated back earlier today in Kashmir which forced both the countries to stop air transport in few cities.
