There is no denying the fact that the emergence of Indian Premier League has helped Indian Cricket like any other. The pressure and the high skills in the tournament helped Indian National Cricket Team players to enhance their skills. Speaking of the same, the former fast bowler Praveen Kumar credits IPL for Indian bowlers success in the recent past.

Currently, Indian bowling department is one of the best attacks in the world cricket across the formats. In Tests, Bumrah, Ishant and Shami are delivering while in ODI format, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Bumrah found a great partnership in wreaking havoc.

The former swing master explains the variety in the Indian bowling section, especially, in ODI format. He quoted that India got Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the new ball and then a leg spinner in the middle overs, who will be accompanied by Kuldeep Yadav, a Chinaman bowler.

“See, be it Bhuvneshwar [Kumar], [Mohammed] Shami, Kuldeep [Yadav], [Yuzvendra) Chahal or anyone else, all of our pacers and spinners are doing well. They all have their own unique style which gives us a huge advantage. We have a leg-spinner and a chinaman too,” Praveen Kumar said to India Today.

Then it was Jasprit Bumrah, who is carrying a great run in the international cricket. Further, he went on to add saying that the tight line and lengths while bowling in IPL has made all those bowlers enhance their skills and deliver for the team.

”Bhuvneshwar Kumar is bowling well with the new ball and we are doing good in the death [overs] too. IPL has made a huge difference, bowlers know how to bowl safe or to take wickets without getting smacked all over the park. Our players have benefitted a lot from IPL, especially in the ODI and T20 format,” he added.

Well, as Praveen Kumar said, India has benefitted a lot from the Indian Premier League. The pressure to win the game for the franchise has certainly brought the best out of players at crunch situations of the game.
