Indians Berate Shahid Afridi For His Controversial Tweet On Kashmir And Narendra Modi
Updated - 26 Aug 2019, 01:22 PM
Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has faced the flak from the Indian fans once again for another of his political tweets. The allrounder has never shied away from speaking on any issue related to Kashmir and has faced the flak from the fans on all occasions. On some occasions, he has also been slammed by former India opener Gautam Gambhir.

Afridi took to Twitter to once again criticise Indian government’s decision of abrogating Article 370. Earlier this month, the government of India took a historic step by abolishing the Article 370. The constitutional provision gave a special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The abrogation has now bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Ever since India announced the decision, the people from across the border have been hellbent to demonise the Indian government. Pakistani prime minister and their former cricket captain Imran Khan has vowed to fight India’s decision to revoke Kashmir’s autonomy. Khan said the move was in breach of international law, adding that he feared ethnic cleansing by India.

Shahid Afridi also tried his best to tarnish India with his message on Twitter. The former international took a vile dig at Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi with his fake claim, stating that even Indians do not support their leader. Not only that, Afridi also spread fake news of violence and cruelty in Kashmir by writing:
“We expect more from @UN to stop violence&cruelty in conflict zone of Kashmir, majority of the Indians DO NOT support the barbaric acts of @narendramodi it’s time he should come towards building long term peace, this inhumanity should be put to a stop4good #KashmirStillUnderCurfew.”

As usual, the Indian fans were not at all impressed with Afridi’s tweet and berated him for his message. Here are some of the reactions to Shahid Afridi’s tweet:

Stop speaking for what majority of Indians want! It's not appropriate to comment without any basis.
It's as wrong as me saying majority of Paxstanis want peace.
Its plain absurd.

Can you stop embarrassing your nation further and stick to cricket. Or maybe focus on Balochistan, Sind, the Pashtuns and your dwindling minorities ..Hindus, Christians and Ahmadiyas.

unlike Imran khan who has been forcefully elected by Army, Modi is democratically elected PM, instead of worrying about Kashmir first see Baloch, Ahmediyas, Shia's, Hindu & Christian being butchered by jihadi's & your Army.
