The reigning champions Mumbai Indians will host Kolkata Knight Riders for the 37th match of the IPL 2018. Rohit Sharma led team has won three matches out of the nine they have played. Thus, the Men in Blue cannot afford any more hiccups in the tournament.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Rider has won five matches out of the nine and stand in a better situation than Mumbai Indians. Both these teams are coming into the match after a win in their last game and would like to build on the impetus.

This is the first time in the season that these two teams will be up against each other. Thus, both of them will like to draw the first blood.
