Delhi Daredevils (DD) will look to spoil Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) party when both the teams square off against each other at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi on May 12 (Saturday).

While Daredevils are out of the playoff scenario, Bangalore will be desperate to keep their hopes alive in the ongoing season eleven of the lucrative tournament. They will have to win all their remaining games – to give themselves a chance of qualification.

Shreyas Iyer-led Daredevils is likely to reshape their playing XI after their overseas cricketers struggled in particular. The big budget players like Glenn Maxwell and Colin Munro have failed to get their form going.

The young leg-spinner from Nepal Sandeep Lamichhane makes his debut for the Daredevils. It will be a huge moment for him as it will give him confidence.

Meanwhile, RCB has the statistics behind them with 13 wins while Delhi have won six games.  It will be an important clash as both of them will strive for victory.

Toss Report

Virat Kohli led Bangalore have won the toss and elected to field first. RCB has a strong batting unit as they will like to post a huge total and defend it. Kohli also considered the dew factor which will come to play in the latter part of the game.

We are going to bowl first. The pitch is going to stay the same. It’s a hard ground to defend. There is the dew factor as well. Having seen the last game here against SRH, we decided to field first. As a team we haven’t played to our potential yet. Sarfaraz Khan is in place of Manan Vohra in the middle-order,” Kohli said.

However, Iyer admitted that they will like to express themselves and enjoy themselves in the rest of the games.

We expect the dew to come in the second innings as well. We just want to enjoy the rest of the tournament, express ourselves and we have been giving chances to youngsters as well,” Iyer said.
