In an interesting turn of events, Hotstar, the digital broadcast source of the Indian Premier League, mistakenly leaked an advertisement of the finals between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The incident can be termed as strange, as the second finalists of the event are yet to be decided with Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad for the second Qualifiers scheduled on Friday.

A Hotstar user uploaded a clip of the advertisement on Facebook of what is learnt to be a larger video.

If the matter is to be scrutinized, the two teams decided to feature in the finals of the playoffs won their matches from positions nowhere in winning seats.

Chennai Super Kings were looking at a possible loss against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Before Faf du Plessis and Shardul Thakur chased down the required score from nowhere.

Also, during the eliminator match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals, the game was going out of control from Dinesh Karthik’s men while Rahane and Samson were at the crease.

Surprisingly, Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla turned the match around its head with their spells. Leaving too much to do for the Royals’ lower middle order.
