IPL 2018: Karun Nair Sold To Kings XI Punjab At Rs 5.60 Crore

Karun Nair was sold to Kings XI Punjab at a whopping price of Rs 5.60 Crore. With this, Nair broke his previous record. In 2016 IPL auction, Nair was sold to Delhi Daredevils at a price of Rs 4 Crore but this time, they neither bid for him nor used their RTM card on India discarded batsman.

Right from the start, Rajasthan Royals – Nair’s former franchise – and Kings XI Punjab were behind Nair and in the end, it were KXIP who remained firmed to buy him.

Nair has played 55 IPL games in which he has scored 1158 runs at a strike rate of 126.97. He also led Delhi Daredevils in few games in the last season when Zaheer Khan was out due to injury mid-season.
