The second match of the ‘business-end’ week of the tournament saw a clash between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, in their bid to qualify for the playoffs. Visitors, Rajasthan Royals, were all set to post yet another challenging total in front of the Knights before Kuldeep Yadav was brought into the attack.
The deceptive Chinaman bowler, single-handedly, turned the course of the game with his spell of four overs, where he bagged four vital wickets.
KKR’s retained bowler broke the back of RR’s batting lineup while clinching the wickets of Buttler, Stokes, Rahane and Binny, to stun the Shane Warne-coached side.
Later on, post-KKR’s six-wicket victory, Kuldeep Yadav was seen snapping pictures with his counterpart, (with the same jersey number 23) Shane Warne.
“A step closer to the playoffs. Thanks to @KKRiders fans for their support. Felt great to do well with the boss @ShaneWarne around,” captioned Kuldeep Yadav’s tweet.
