Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fast bowler Lungi Ngidi is all set to join the squad ahead of their clash against Mumbai Indians at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune on April 28 (Saturday).

Meanwhile, Ngidi went back to South Africa after the sudden demise of his father.

However, he had to face more embarrassment on his way back to home. He was subjected to strip search at the airport, and his troubles got doubled with it.

However, Chennai has had a perfect return to the league. They are currently the table toppers with five wins from six games. Moreover, they have played like a team with players chipping in with useful contributions.

The Super Kings are playing their home games in Pune in the wake of the Cauvery Water Dispute. The police authority failed to provide adequate security, as BCCI rescheduled their games.

Meanwhile, it has not affected their performances on the field. MS Dhoni and his boys have played some superb cricket and will look to continue going to the business end.

Nigidi announces his return

The South African seamer himself announced his arrival to India. Ngidi posted the story on his official Instagram account. He posted the pictures of him leaving South Africa and then also updated about reaching to Dubai and must have joined the team by now.

However, it remains to be seen, if he will get included in the playing XI in the upcoming matches with the team doing so well.

CSK has at times struggled with a young seaming attack. They have leaked runs in almost all the games. However, their batsmen have made amends for it.

The team management will want an improved performance from the boys in the next fixture against Mumbai.
