Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are all in readiness to square off against each other later on Sunday at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
While CSK had won both of their matches, Punjab had lost their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, it will be an exciting encounter given both the teams have some quality players in their ranks.
Ravichandran Ashwin has started well as the skipper of Punjab leading the team from the front. In the last game, he shined with both and ball despite his team ending on the losing side.
However, MS Dhoni is an experienced campaigner and knows how to keep the players motivated. While the team is running like a well-oiled machine, CSK’s problems off the field are never-ending.
They will miss a few star players due to injury including the likes of Suresh Raina. Also, they will have to play their home games in Pune in the wake of the Cauvery Water Dispute.
Meanwhile, with rain prevailing all over the country there is a bit of tension for the fans.
According to Accu Weather, it is currently sunny and warm in Mohali with the temperature hovering around 37 Degree Celsius. It will remain like this throughout the afternoon only to turn cloudy during the closure of the match.
Also, the atmosphere will be cool, and the temperature will go down dramatically to 28 Degree Celsius.
Moreover, there are no chances of rain affecting the game. Though the team bowling second might have to fight with dew, as the bowling is likely to slip from the bowlers’ hands.
