IPL 2018: Watch - MS Dhoni Returns as Dad on Duty After Match-winning Knock

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni helped his daughter Ziva in drying her hair. Dhoni returned to his responsibilities of being a father after playing a match-winning knock against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ar M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday night.

In the latest Instagram video uploaded by Dhoni, he could be seen helping Zoya in drying her hair with a help of a hairdryer. Just like his batting, Dhoni is seen getting the task done in a fine fashion.

Dhoni was able to blow up the RCB bowlers just like he could be seen blowing Ziva’s hair in the video.

Meanwhile, it was a pure carnage from Ambati Rayudu as well as his skipper Dhoni helped their side win the contest by five wickets.

The Chennai skipper bagged the Man of the match award for his brisk 34-ball unbeaten 70.

The wicketkeeper-batsman smashed seven towering sixes and one four in his match-defining knock. This was Dhoni’s second half-century of the ongoing eleventh season.

Meanwhile, we are witnessing a different Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is batting with more freedom. Dhoni is coming up the batting order which is also giving him a chance to face more deliveries.

Dhoni also received good support from opener Rayudu who played a blistering knock of 82 off just 53 balls.

Rayudu has been in fine form and he is concurrently the Orange Cap holder at the moment with 283 runs in six innings.

Chennai was behind the eight ball when they were 74 for four. A good partnership was the need of the hour for the Chennai team and it was provided by 101 run-stand between Rayudu and Dhoni.

The Chennai franchise has made a fine comeback into the Indian Premier League after a two-year break. The Men in Yellow is at the summit of the IPL 2018 points table with five wins in the six matches.

Jharkhand lad is once again leading the side from the front. More importantly, Dhoni is delivering the goods with the bat and it is great to note that he has found his form back.

MS Dhoni took to Instagram to share the video after the match. MS post read as, “Game over, had a nice sleep now back to Daddy’s duties”.
