IPL 2018: Parthiv Patel Sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore to 1.7 Crores

Wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore for 1.7 Crores after going unsold in the first of the IPL auction. Patel has played for six franchise in the previous 10 IPL seasons. He began his IPL journey with Chennai Super Kings and then played for Kochi Tuskers, Decan Chargers Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. He has played 119 IPL matches and has scored 2322 runs at an average of 21.70.

Patel went unsold on the day of the 2018 IPL auction. Patel is currently in the Indian Test squad and is in South Africa with the Indian team. Patel was ruled out of the fourth day’s play with a broken finger. Dinesh Karthik kept wickets for the team on day four.
