Highly-rated allrounder Pawan Negi will continue to ply his trade for Royal Challengers Bangalore after being bought by the two-time finalists for INR 1 crore.

Mumbai Indians would have thought they had their man but the Royal Challengers snatched him away by using the RTM card.

The Delhi-born player, who played for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League in 2012 and 2013 and for Chennai Super Kings in 2014 and 2015, was bought by a whopping amount of INR 8.50 crores by Delhi Daredevils in IPL auction 2016 which made him the costliest Indian player of auction.

However, after he failed to perform as per expectation, he was released by the franchise and was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for 1 crore.

Negi had gone on to justify the decision by scoring 144 runs and picking up 16 wickets in 12 games.
