Rajasthan Royals (RR) mentor, Shane Warne has wished luck to all the Royals’ players for the playoff leg and also sent out his apologies for not being with the team.

Meanwhile, the Royals will play Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Eliminator one at the historic Eden Gardens on May 23 (Wednesday).

Rajasthan, however, picked up late in the tournament and won the matches on a trot – to book a place in the playoffs.

Jos Buttler single-handedly took Rajasthan inch closer to the knockout before leaving for England owing to the national commitment.

The Jaipur-based outfit will have an uphill task at hand to replicate the performance without the likes of Buttler and Ben Stokes.

Ajinkya Rahane and his men will have to put their best feet forward against the Knight Riders.

Warne wishes luck:

The legendary Australian spinner Warne recently went back to Australia and tendered an apology for not being with the team.

However, the veteran cricketer Warne promised to be with the side on Sunday (May 27( if they made it to the finals of the cash-rich league tournament.

Moreover, Shane Warne also wished them luck and urged them to follow the plans made before playing big games.

Good luck to the @rajasthanroyals in the playoffs. Apologies I can’t be there with you on Wednesday & Friday, but will see you Sunday for the final. Remember the things we’ve spoken about re playing finals / big games – you’re ready & I’m so proud of you all. You’ve got this,” the tweet read.

Meanwhile, Warne has had a positive impact and everybody talked highly about the wrist-spinner. Way back in 2008, under the leadership of Warne, Royals lift the coveted title of IPL.
