Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is currently part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was recently present on the new show of his CSK teammate Harbhajan Singh called “Bhajji Blasts wit CSK” as a guest. ]

Harbhajan and Jadeja have been the two frontline spinners for the Super Kings, for the major part of the tournament. They have been impressive in the middle and have done a good job together.

In the show, Harbhajan asked Jadeja several questions and the latter obliged to those questions. Amidst the show, he was asked by Harbhajan as the reason behind people putting ‘Sir’ ahead of his name.

Moreover, we must be well aware of the fact that Jadeja is called as Sir Jadeja. However in a light manner, not many will be actually aware of why the trend sprung up.

Moreover, Jadeja revealed the particular reason behind people calling him Sir Jadeja.

Thanks to Harbhajan that he asked Jadeja the question which helped everyone know the actual reason behind people calling him Sir.

Jadeja stated there is no particular reason that why he is called ‘Sir Ravindra Jadeja’. The left-arm skiddy customer revealed that it was none other than CSK skipper Mahendra Singh, who gave him the name without any definite logic.

For your information, the incident goes back to the year 2013 when Dhoni starting tweeting some Rajnikanth types of jokes to appreciate Jadeja on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Dhoni posted a series of tweets which appreciated the talent of Jadeja.

The out of favour Indian player in the limited-overs format revealed that he genuinely has no idea that what prompted Dhoni to give him the tag.

Also, Ravindra Jadeja has been impressive in the last few matches. He has bagged 10 wickets in 15 matches at a very good economy rate. He will play a vital role in the all-important final on Super Sunday (May 27).
