In a recent interview, some big names from Royal Challengers Bangalore opened up on their career, childhood and other.

In association with Eros Now, a famous comedy group, AIB interviewed RCB trio – Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal.

During the show, one of the hosts asked the players to reveal the name of the cricketers whose posters they had displayed in their room.

De Villiers started the answering sequence by revealing he used to hand Jonty Rhodes’ poster in his room.

“Jonty Rhodes all the time. I even had a Jonty Rhodes cap. I was Jonty Rhodes’ growing up, hundred percent,” he said.

The hosts then jokingly asked Kohli whether he had Kapil Dev’s poster in his room.

In reply, he made fun of his bowling action, saying he would never waste the poster of the legendary cricketer. He further revealed the name of the players whose posters he had on his wall.

“I had Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid’s posters,” he said.

Then came the moment of the interview. Yuzvendra Chahal was asked the same question, and he revealed the name of the legendary spinner, Shane Warne.

The host then asked him whether he had met the Australian leg-spinner. In reply, Chahal said once in 2011 before hilariously describing the meeting.

The leg-spinner said the bowling legend just said ‘hii’ to Warne and that was it. He then went on to say that Warne is his idol.

Well, Chahal has come a long way since 2011. He is now an integral part of the national team and looks set to spearhead the attack for quite some time now.

Meanwhile, the trio will be looking to fire on all cylinders in the remaining games of the season. Bangalore is languishing at the seventh position after winning just two out of seven matches.
