IPL 2019: 17th Match, Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders – Weather Forecast; So far, it has been one hell of a ride for Virat Kohli-led side. Despite playing four games in the season, they are yet to win a single game in the tournament. Now, they will be hosting Kolkata Knight Riders in their fifth game, which will be at home.
Kolkata Knight Riders are heading into the game with a super over-loss on their backpack. However, they wouldn’t look much into the game, as they did decent enough despite bagging the loss. Apart from that, they also found the balance in the side, which is the must for any team.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are still finding it tough to get their playing XI right. Their batting heroes lost their touch with the willow while the bowling department is failing to restrict runs for the team. All in all, they need good rejig to make things fall in place.
The batting department has got a great lineup but unfortunately, none of them is finding form at the right moment. So far, it was only Parthiv Patel, who delivered the goods. They shuffled their batting lineup on a lineup, which tells you the sorts of RCB.
The return of Marcus Stoinis would be a good boost for the team while it is the time for reserves to get a look-in in the all-important clash. On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik-led side would most probably go into the game with a similar squad.
Coming to the bowling departments, it was the primary area of concern for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Apart from Mohammed Siraj, none of the fast bowlers is delivering goods for the team. Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav are failing on a consistent basis while Chahal is there premium wicket-taker.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders’ bowling has been brilliant with the likes of Prasidh Krishna and Lockie Ferguson delivering the required ingredients for the team.
