BCCI blackmails Cricket South Africa.

Meanwhile, Ottis Gibson sent a request to CSA chief executive Thabang Moroe and then chief operating officer‚ Naasei Appiah to call back their players for the preparation for World Cup.

CSA reacted to these cases and said that they were not aware about these developments. “That is not valid by any means. We don’t know about such a proposal made to the official,” CSA said in a statement.

On the other hand, England and Australia had called back their players before the beginning of May. In fact, these countries had made it clear in the initial phase. However, it is a different story with South African cricket as they wanted their players to boost their IPL pay.

We do our best to boost our players IPL pay.

“Our comprehension is that, similar to the case with New Zealand, the Windies, etcetera, we as CSA do our best to help our players in boosting their IPL pay. It is just Australia and England who can stand to haul their players out,” CSA added.

Meanwhile, South African players like Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis and Imran Tahir will play in the Indian Premier League final for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Furthermore, Kagiso Rabada who is currently the leading wicket-taker with 25 wickets was called back to keep a check on his back injury.
