Harbhajan Singh is delighted to be a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The former Indian off-spinner has been synonymous with Mumbai Indians playing since the inception of the IPL 2008. After that, Harbhajan Singh was seen in different colors after joining Chennai Super Kings.

Previously the veteran cricketer has expressed his happiness after being handed his particular jersey number by his new Indian Premier League (IPL) side Chennai Super Kings (CSK). After spending ten trophies with Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan Singh was seen in a new avatar in the eleventh edition of the tournament.

Moreover, during his ten years with Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan lifted the trophy for three times.

The first was in 2013, then in 2015 and last in 2017. However, Mumbai Indians opted to let go, Harbhajan Singh, in the IPL auction in January and was picked by Chennai Super Kings. CSK took the veteran spinner for Rs. 2 crore, which was his base prize.

The 38-year-old was one of the successful bowlers in the history of IPL regarding wickets. He is holding the number three spots in the all-time list till the joining of CSK. From 139 matches that he has played, Harbhajan Singh has bagged 127 wickets, and he was only behind Lasith Malinga (154) and Amit Mishra (134) in the list.

In addition to, CSK has announced that they had retained 22 players for the 2019 season. They only released three members from the title-winning squad. The franchise has kept their crucial players like skipper MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Harbhajan had played 13 matches for CSK and had claimed seven wickets in the last edition of the rich-cash tournament. He is pleased to be a part of the franchise. Chennai Super Kings had won the title three times and will be looking forward to maintaining their records.
