Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) secured a comfortable victory against the home team Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday (7th April) night at Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur).

The visiting side decided to field first after winning the toss. In the first innings, the host side managed to score 139/3 (20 overs). In reply, the visitors successfully chased down that target in 13.5 overs after losing just two wickets. KKR won this match by eight wickets with 37 balls to spare.

i) Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine, the KKR opening batsmen, provided a 91-run partnership for the first wicket. It is the second-highest opening partnership for the KKR against RR. On 5th May 2014, Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa (KKR) put a 121-run partnership for the opening wicket against RR. Moreover, the latest opening partnership was the fourth best partnership for any wicket for KKR against RR.
