The home side Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) secured an easy victory in their crucial encounter against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday (17th April) night at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad). They won this match by six wickets with 19 balls to spare.

CSK stand-in captain Suresh Raina decided to bat first after winning the toss. However, the visitors struggled in their innings and managed to put the total of 132/5 (20 overs) on the board. Chasing down that target, SRH successfully reached there in 16.5 overs after losing four wickets.
