Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant have impressed.

Consequently, both of them have played a key role in Delhi Capitals’ reaching the playoff stages. Capitals had last qualified for the playoff stages in 2012 and made it to the last four after a gap of seven years.

Subsequently, Vivian Richards believes Delhi Capitals have been the most exciting team to watch out in the ongoing season.

“For the Capitals, it will feel like a new experience making it to the playoffs after a seven-year gap. However, this season they have been one of the most exciting teams to watch. The young Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant play delightful shots and show no signs of being intimidated by the occasion or opposition, a trait that I think is crucial to winning consistently,” Richards, wrote in his column for ToI.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator of the ongoing season. On the other hand, Vivian Richards believes Delhi Capitals will miss the services of Kagiso Rabada whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting line-up is going to be bleak without David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.
