IPL 2019: Best Eleven Of Twelfth IPL Season

The twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) came to an end with a thrilling finale on Sunday. Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 1 run to lift the title for a record fourth time. Mumbai Indians became the first team to lift the trophy for the fourth time, one more than second-placed Super Kings who have now lost as many as five finals. The thrilling final was a fitting end to the season that is arguably the most competitive seasons in the history of the league.

As many as three teams – Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals – finished with 9 wins to finish in the top three. Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab finished with 6 wins on each while Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore finished with five wins and one no-result. The season, nonetheless, saw some handful of players making a name for themselves with some scintillating individual performances.

There were definitely quite a number of players who stood out from the rest due to their individual brilliance but we have selected only 11 in our IPL Tweet of the Season. The basis of our selection is the players’ consistency and so here we present to you the team of the season.
