Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are yet to win a Indian Premier League (IPL) title. Over the years, the Bengaluru outfit have tried plenty of combinations, but failed to turn the tide in their favour. However, with the IPL 2020 approaching, we have a look at some of the key players from the franchise who can potentially help RCB clinch the IPL title.

3 Players From RCB Who Can Help Them Win The IPL Title

1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has not been a successful captain in the lucrative tournament. RCB had deployed plenty of firepower in their ranks but it did not help them clinch the title. The Bengaluru outfit have featured in the IPL thrice but failed to get their hands on the title by a whisker.

But if Kohli is in fine form, it could well end up to be RCB’s season. The record breaking machine is hard to stop when he is in sublime form and can take bowlers to cleaners at will. And the franchise will look to take advantage from it.

Kohli averages over 37 in the IPL. He has scored 5412 runs in the tournament with the help of five centuries and 36 half-centuries. He has the high score of 113 and on a given day can win a match on his own.

2. AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers might have retired from international cricket but his batting prowess still remains intact. The IPL can also be crucial for de Villiers as he is looking to make a comeback for South Africa in the T20 World Cup, to which South Africa coach Mark Boucher might give a nod, depending upon his current form.

As a result, de Villiers could be seen going all guns blazing in this season of the lucrative tournament. He along with Kohli form a lethal and even if one of them gets ticking they can make a mockery of big totals by putting up a batting exhibition on show.

De Villiers has an average close to 40 in the IPL and has three centuries to his name, His phenomenal strike rate of 151.23 can be crucial for the Bengaluru franchise to chase big totals or set the tone of the game.

3. Shivam Dube

With his high back-lift and ability to clear the rope with ease, young Shivam Dube can be a force to reckon with, come this IPL. He has the proven ability to hit five sixes in a row and contribute with quick fire knocks for the Bengaluru outfit.

Dube is yet to prove himself in the IPL and this might well be the season for him. He, however, has a phenomenal strike rate of 139.51 and can be a threat to the oppositions.
