Kedar Jadhav, a name, that has been the centre of a lot of bashing ever since the 21st game of Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) came to a close on Wednesday. Kedar Jadhav put on an absolutely ridiculous show against KKR in the game and the fans are absolutely fuming over the veteran’s performance.

The outrage was quite visible on social media after the game as Kedar Jadhav became the focal point of a bundle of social media trolling. Cricket fans and former cricketers have all questioned Jadhav’s place in the CSK squad and have taken digs on the CSK team management as a result of Jadav’s poor outing.

The outrage went to the next level when some fans took to an online platform and began a campaign to remove Kedar Jadhav from the CSK squad by way of signing a petition.

Fans Go Crazy As They Begin An Online Campaign To Remove Kedar Jadhav From Chennai Super Kings

Some CSK fans who couldn’t witness the perishable state of their franchise in this year’s IPL took to an online portal named Change.org and began an online campaign to remove Kedar Jadhav from the CSK squad. The campaign requires an individual to sign an online petition. To ensure transparency, the platform approves for a sign only after the individual has signed in through his/her email address.

So far, a total of 15000 people have already signed the petition and the numbers just seem to increase every hour. Jadhav came out to bat for CSK on Wednesday when they were in a tricky situation while chasing a target of 168 runs at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

CSK’ Woes Don’t Seem To Come To An End

CSK have now lost their fourth game in the tournament out of the 6 games they have played so far. Their journey to the playoffs looks difficult from hereon and if they make it until there from hereon, it will be none short of a miracle. If they don’t qualify, it will be historical as this will be the first instance when CSK will fail to qualify for the playoffs even after competing in the tournament.

Chennai Super Kings will now take on RCB in their next game on October 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. They will now have to win 6 off their last 8 games if they eye a playoff spot in IPL 2020.
