IPL 2020: Full Schedule, Timing And Venue of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Three-time finalists Royal Challengers Bangalore, on Saturday, announced their full league fixtures for the upcoming thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Bengaluru-based outfit will open its much-awaited IPL 2020 campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders at their home ground – the M Chinnaswamy Stadium – on March 31.

The Royal Challengers will also play the last league game in the tournament when they host Mumbai Indians on May 17. Royal Challengers Bangalore’s seven home games will take place on March 31st, April 7th, 18th, 22nd, May 3rd, 14th and 17th.

Their first away game will be against defending champions Mumbai Indians in the afternoon on April 5. Their 7 away matches will be played on April 10th, 14th, 25th, May 5th and 10th. Barring the first game, all the rest of their away matches will be played in the evening.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking to end their title drought in the upcoming season. They have made it to the final of the competition thrice – 2009, 2011 and 2016 – but ended up on the wrong side of the result on every occasion. Their performance in the last few years has been a lot worse.

Since making it to the final in 2016, they have not managed to make it past the league stage. In last three seasons, they have finished at the bottom twice while on the other occasion, they finished at a lowly sixth spot in the eight-team competition.
