Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2020 clash at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The pitch in Sharjah has seen some high-scoring contests being played before it turned out to be slower side. Both teams will look to have a fair reading about the conditions before the finalize their playing XI for the match.

RCB registered a big win in their previous match against CSK with Virat Kohli leading the team from the front. The Bangalore franchise will expect Devdutt Padikkal to get off to a good start. Although Aaron Finch has not quite delivered for the side. AB de Villiers will be the key in the middle-order with Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal important in the bowling department.

KKR suffered a huge setback as their premier spinner Sunil Narine’s action has been reported. Varun Chakravarthy will have to play a key role in his absence as premier India spinner Kuldeep Yadav has not looked up to the mark in IPL 2020. However, Dinesh Karthik returning back to form is a huge positive for KKR.

IPL 2020 Match 28: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders: Weather Forecast

The major concern playing in the UAE will be heat. A lot of foreign players are not habituated to playing in such conditions. However, local Indian players might tackle the heat as they have played under such conditions in the sub-continent.

The weather on the match day is predicted to remain around 33 to 29 degree celsius. As the day, progresses, the temperature might give slight relief to the players who are in for an evening start with the match.

Toss also becomes a major concern in the IPL 2020 due to this situation even though in the shortest format it doesn’t plays a big role. Humidity during the latter part of the match makes it difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball. The season has so far seen that the team’s batting first have won most number of matches.+
