It will be a crucial match for both the side as Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2020 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Rajasthan Royals are currently second last in the IPL 2020 points table with five wins from eight matches while one win for RCB will take them closer to book their berth in the playoffs.

All-rounder Ben Stokes have added depth to the Rajasthan Royals batting line-up which is highly dependent on their overseas player. Their captain Steve Smith has looked out of touch in this tournament which has prompted murmurs of Jos Buttler taking over as the captain of the side. Sanju Samson will need to find consistency at the top of the order with Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag key in the middle-order. England fast bowler Jofra Archer will be the key in the bowling.

Virat Kohli took a few questionable calls as a captain in RCB’s loss against KXIP. He will hope to come up with a better show against Rajasthan. He has been in good touch with the bat and the team will hope Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch to get them off to a good start while AB de Villiers to slog in the middle. Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal will be the key in the bowling department with Isuru Udana trying to chip in with a few wickets.

IPL 2020 Match 33: Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Weather Forecast

The major concern playing in the UAE will be heat. A lot of foreign players are not habituated to playing in such conditions. However, local Indian players might tackle the heat as they have played under such conditions in the sub-continent.

The weather on the match day is predicted to remain around 33 to 29 degree celsius. As the day, progresses, the temperature might give slight relief to the players who are in for an evening start with the match.

Toss also becomes a major concern in the IPL 2020 due to this situation even though in the shortest format it doesn’t plays a big role. Humidity during the latter part of the match makes it difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball. The season has so far seen that the team’s batting first have won most number of matches.
