Kolkata Knight Riders secured a massive victory over Rajasthan Royals in the 54th match of IPL 2020 to give themselves a genuine chance of reaching the playoffs. As they beat the Rajasthan Royals, the Knight Riders not only knocked them out of the tournament but also pushed them to the last position in the IPL 2020 points table. The winning margin was by 60 runs, lifting them to the fourth spot.

After putting to bat first, Jofra Archer dismissed Nitish Rana in the first ball that he faced.
