Things have gone only better for India’s premium bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, in the Rainbow Nation. The bowler who bamboozled the South Africans with his guile drew curtains to his South African tour by clinching the Man of the series award.

Bhuvi clinched his maiden five-wicket haul in the Jo’Burg T20I. He remained wicketless in the second T20I which India lost but came back with a bang in the series finale.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled the decisive last over of the match and kept his nerves to finish the game for India. The Sunrisers retained bowler also picked up a couple of wickets to show for his over.

Kumar scalped eight wickets in total to display how indispensable he is to the Indian side in all format. Due to his efforts, he walked away with the man of the series award.

It’s all about how you prepare yourselfbefore every series. IPL has made Indian bowlers thinking bowlers. It’s important not to give away too many runs in the powerplay. You had to keep it simple and of course, slower balls and knuckleballs were there. You hardly get wickets like these in India,” suggested Bhuvi during the post-match presentation.
