If there was any plus point for England in the recently-concluded Ashes Trophy, it would be the emergence of Jofra Archer in the longer version of the game. After delivering goods in World Cup, Jofra Archer showed that he is capable of making a red-ball do the talking as well. Meanwhile, the man of this summer Ben Stokes showers words of praise on the youngster.

England allrounder Ben Stokes admits he is yet to have come across a bowler with more talent in his time that teammate Jofra Archer, who set the Ashes 2019 ablaze with 22 wickets. Having made his Test debut in the second game at Lord’s, Archer bowled with steam and finished with two five-wicket-hauls.

England vice-captain Ben Stokes believes young speedster Jofra Archer can help them regain the Ashes when they travel to Australia next in 2021-22. Archer, playing in his debut Test series, Jofra Archer displayed high-quality skills in the middle to make things fall in place.

Further, Ben Stokes quoted that Jofra Archer is going to be the vital player for England in the upcoming few years. He believes that Archer will help England to take the Ashes urn when they next travel to Australia in 2021-22.

“I don’t think I’ve seen a more talented bowler in my time. It’s great to have him on your team. No doubt he is the sort of guy who can help get those Ashes back when we go down under (in 2021-22),” Stokes said as quoted by The Guardian.

.“It is very rare for a 24-year-old to be able to come in, be exposed to this environment and then step up and improve game by game as quickly as Jof is doing it. There is plenty more to come from him because he is so skilful and picks things up so quickly,” Stokes added.

The 24-year-old, who came to limelight after playing an integral role in England’s maiden World Cup win in June-July, unleashed his pace against the mighty Aussies and kept them on their toes throughout the four Test matches he played in the Ashes.
