Jasprit Bumrah Posts Cryptic Message, Fans Believe It Was For Jofra Archer

India fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be looking to hit the ground running when he spearheads the attack in the upcoming two-Test series against West Indies. Jasprit Bumrah was given a much-needed break after a hectic IPL and the World Cup. Consequently, he missed the ODI and the T20Is against West Indies before joining the squad for the Tests.

Hopes will be high from Jasprit Bumrah. He was an absolute revelation for India after making his Test debut. Bumrah finished 2018 as the highest wicket-taker across all formats in the calendar year. The fast bowler took 78 wickets in this year. Bumrah took 48 wickets in 9 Tests, 22 wickets in 13 ODIs and 8 wickets in 8 T20I matches.

The India star was pivotal in India’s historic Test triumph in Australia this month. India beat Australia 2-1 to register their first Test series win on the Australian soil. He ended the series as the joint highest wicket-taker along with Aussie spinner Nathan Lyon. Bumrah picked up an impressive 21 wickets. including a career-best 6 for 33 in the Melbourne Test.

The series against West Indies will kickstart India’s campaign in the inaugural ICC Test Championship. Team India will be keen to win both the games to strengthen their grip at the top of the ICC Test rankings. And ahead of the first Test, Jasprit Bumrah has made it clear that he is raring to go by posting a cryptic tweet.

Bumrah posted a picture on Twitter with a motivational message on it for reasons only known to him. However, many of his followers believed that it was for Jofra Archer. The England star made an impressive Test debut in the ongoing Ashes. The fans believe that Bumrah was not at all fine with the attention garnered by Archer.
