Of late, we came across the players in the world cricket calling curtains on their Test career to extend their stay in the International Cricket through ODI and T20I formats. However, Jasprit Bumrah is quite different to them, who loves to play a longer version of the game on any day.

Bumrah, in his latest interview with Hindustan Times, feels that player, who can perform well in Test cricket will surely play well in the ODI and T20 formats of the game as well. He further added that people think Bumrah likes T20 form much, which gave him the exposure, but the fast bowler denied it.

Before January 2018, despite his remarkable white-ball performances, no one knew what Jasprit Bumrah is capable of doing in Test matches. Virat Kohli and the team management unleashed India’s most successful limited-overs wicket-taker for the overseas tours, and as they say, the rest is history for Indian cricket.

He announced himself in a grandeur fashion in South Africa and later, showed his class in England and Australia. Jasprit Bumrah further improved his stats in 2019 when the team travelled to West Indies. Bumrah rattled the defence of West Indies to have a sensational series under his belt.

“If you do well in Tests, you can do well in any format. Because people saw me in the IPL first, they think that’s what made me,” Jasprit Bumrah said.
