No one would have expected that Jasprit Bumrah is going to rule the world cricket when he first appeared in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians. The first three deliveries of him were knocked to the fence by Virat Kohli but what followed next was the ribbon-cutting of Bumrah’s glorious cricketing career. Meanwhile, the fast bowler and his mother reveal the tough times they faced in his childhood.

He trapped Virat Kohli plumb in front of the wicket. And then, he tasted success throughout the tournament. Within a span of the time, he was asked to represent India against the Australian side for the ODI series under MS Dhoni captaincy.

Since then, it has been a great ride for Jasprit Bumrah since his debut. And also, he has grown from strength to strength to take the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings chart. Even in Test cricket, he has become a force to reckon with.

He added a couple of pictures, in which, he was seen taking a trophy at a very young age and in the other picture, he was collecting the trophy for his best show in the ICC World Cup 2019. Highlighting the both, he came up with a tweet captioning ”Started from the bottom now we’re here.”

Jasprit Bumrah is not part of the Indian team for the ongoing Test series against South Africa. After being initially included in the Test squad, Bumrah was ruled out of the series due to a lower back stress fracture. After missing out on an opportunity to play his first Test at home, Bumrah flew to the UK to seek specialist opinion on his injury.

Jasprit Bumrah first made headlines while playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. The franchise played a crucial role in scouting the player after looking at his unique bowling action and speed. Nita Ambani lauded Bumrah’s transformational journey and also mentioned that Mumbai Indians are happy to deliver such a talent to International cricket.
