Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has always been in the news for her remarks on various personalities. This time Kangana has come up with an interesting title for the Indian skipper and run-machine, Virat Kohli. King Kohli was awarded the Man of the Series in the recently-concluded three-match India-Australia ODI series. He was the 2nd highest scorer in the series scoring 183 runs in the three games that he played.

India won the bilateral series 2-1 after losing the first game by 10 wickets in Mumbai. Well, questions were raised on Kohli’s decision-making abilities in the first ODI after the humiliating loss.

However, Kohli made some crucial decisions in the final two ODIs that helped team India to clinch the series. Thus, Kangana has given Captain Kohli a rather interesting title.

Kangana named Virat as the Panga king of Team India. “I am the Panga queen, and the Panga king of Team India is definitely Virat Kohli. He is fearless and is up for any challenges that come his way. This time we both will take a ‘Panga’ on the same day – mine will be at the theatres, and he will battle it out against the New Zealand team on their home ground. This will be fun,” said the actress.

Kohli is the only batsman in world cricket to have an average of above 50 across all the three formats. Kohli and his men will now face New Zealand in a month-long away tour. The tour will consist of five T20Is, three ODIs, and two Tests.

The Men in Blue will look to beat the Kiwis across formats.
