Kevin Pietersen Posts Emotional Message For Wife Jessica Taylor On Tenth Wedding Anniversary

In a touching tweet, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen wished his wife Jessica Taylor as the couple celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary on Friday (December 29).

The batting legend and the former Liberty X singer tied the knot married on 29 December 2007 and have lived happily thereafter. Jessica gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son Dylan Blake in 2010, making Pietersen cross the Atlantic and return home midway through the series against West Indies.  The couple was blessed with their second child, a daughter named Rosie, in 2015. The couple has been going strong since getting married a decade ago and looking at Pietersen’s tweet, one can say that the relationship is only getting stronger with each passing day.

One of England’s best-ever batsmen, Pietersen played 104 Tests, 136 One-Day Internationals and 37 T20 Internationals, scoring over 13,000 international runs with the help of 32 centuries and 67 fifties. Pietersen’s career was marred with controversies which overshadowed his brilliance on the field. Pietersen’s career hit a major roadblock when he was unceremoniously dumped from England’s set up early in 2014 following the team’s Ashes whitewash in Australia.

Since then, Pietersen has been plying his trade in T20 leagues across the globe. He is currently playing for Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League.
