The retirement news of AB de Villiers from international cricket had shaken the cricketing world on Wednesday. The talented South African cricketer had decided to step aside, as he feels this is the right time.
However, once the news sunk in, fans and cricketers alike sent plenty of messages to AB de Villiers on the glorious career he had over the past decade or so in international cricket. The legendary cricket revolutionised the way batting is done, mainly in the limited-overs cricket.

AB de Villiers- Not just another cricketer
The South African has left his mark on the game of cricket. His innovation has helped many cricketers to try unconventional and innovative shots to score runs.
The 34-year old has been one of the most accomplished players in recent times with his bat. His ability to adapt to any conditions and play according to the situation sets him apart. De Villiers will be dearly missed by the South African cricket team and also by the fans across the world.
Let us hope, he plays in Indian Premier League as well next season, although he is committed only to play for his home side Titans in domestic cricket.
