Krunal Pandya Reveals Hardik Pandya's Reaction on Selection and Lady Luck

Yet another Pandya is set to make his way into the dressing room for team India. The stylish all-rounder, Krunal Pandya has received the call-up for the upcoming T20I series against the Windies and Australia. Speaking of the same, Krunal talked about the lady luck in his life and also reveals the reaction of his brother, Hardik Pandya.
Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya got the limelight while playing for Mumbai Indians under Rohit Sharma in the IPL. He has been the vital cog for the team in all sections of the game and soon, earned a name of his own in Indian cricket.

Perhaps, the lady luck has been good for Krunal Pandya. Just after his marriage, Krunal Pandya had received the highest pay in the IPL auctions for an uncapped player. Later, he got appointed as the skipper for Baroda in the domestic trophy.
And, now, he was asked to don the Indian Jersey for the series against the Windies and Australia in the shorter format. Meanwhile, another happy soul after learning the news would be Hardik Pandya, who always wanted to see Krunal in the Indian attire.
“After that, when I logged on to Twitter, I saw my name in the Indian T20 team for Australia also. Hardik had gone to sleep by then, as he had to train in the morning. However, he came out after he got to know and was all excited. He just told me to go out and play bindaas (carefree) cricket. I’ll pick his brains about how to play in Australia, since he’s been there twice.”,” Krunal Pandya quoted to Cricbuzz.
“I got married in December, and in January, I became the most expensive uncapped player in the IPL. A few months later I was picked for the Indian team in England when I least expected it since I was with the India ‘A’ team there, and now this. Obviously, lady luck is working,” he added.

The youngster shares an excellent bond with Rohit Sharma in the Mumbai Indians dugout. They both played together for a reasonable amount of matches, and the all-rounder quoted he has learnt a lot from his IPL skipper.
I started playing in the IPL under him, and have played around 50-60 games under him. His inputs have been valuable. He gives a player the chance to express himself. We both know each other very well. It’s good for me,” feels Krunal.
However, it has been great last few months for Krunal Pandya, as far as his cricketing career is concerned. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see whether he finds a place in the playing XI.
