Delhi Capitals Is The Best Team for Young Indian Cricketers: Lalit Yadav

India’s young explosive batsman Lalit Yadav has come up with some interesting claims. He was picked by the Delhi Capitals for this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). Yadav has said that Delhi Capitals is the best team for young Indian cricketers. It has produced some fantastic international players over the years.
Yadav is from Najafgarh alike former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag. Both their batting styles are quite similar to as both of them have power-hitting capabilities. Yadav has hit six 6s in an over twice.
Yadav was roped in by Delhi Capitals at his base price of Rs 20 lakh at the auction held in Kolkata last year.

Lalit Yadav Opens Up On His Excitement for Maiden IPL
“Delhi Capitals, in particular, is the best team for young Indian cricketers. I see this as an important stepping stone to eventually playing for India one day, like Shreyas, Rishabh and Prithvi,” said Yadav. He added, “I am looking forward to being challenged at this level and see where I really stand among the best in the world.”
Yadav also recalled the time he got to know that he has been picked by the Delhi Capitals for IPL 2020. Throwing light on his maiden IPL call, Yadav said, “We were playing in Andhra Pradesh when I found out that I was picked by DC. My phone didn’t stop ringing, but I spoke with my family only as I had to resume batting the next morning and didn’t want to lose focus.”
The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League will begin from 29th March this year. The first game of the season will be played between the two most successful teams of the tournament, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Delhi Capitals will begin their IPL 2020 campaign against defending champions Mumbai Indians on 30th March. It will be interesting to see whether or not Delhi Capitals can prove to be possible title challengers?
