India’s limited-overs batting specialist, Manish Pandey, is no doubt one of the most good looking cricketers around. With Virat Kohli tieing the knots with Anushka Sharma, the Karnataka batsman now is the most eligible bachelor in the Indian team.

The unorthodox-yet-effective middle-order batsman recently was nominated on the list of most desirable men by Bangalore Times. He was voted the 14th most desirable man by the people in and around the Garden City.

Pandey came into the reckoning during the famous 2008 Under 19 World Cup campaign at Kuala Lumpur. He was part of the Indian squad with the likes of Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja.

Their careers, since then, took different directions, as Manish Pandey got to represent India in only 2015. Meanwhile, Kohli and Jadeja established themselves as regular in all formats for India.

Interestingly, Pandey was the first Indian to score an IPL century while representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Domestically, Manish was the spine of Karnataka’s batting order along with the likes of Uthappa.

The two made a move to Kolkata Knight Riders together. Pandey went on to receive the man of the match award in the finals of 2014 IPL against Kings XI Punjab for his 94.

In the IPL auction of 2018, Manish Pandey hogged all the limelight after going for a whopping INR 11 crores to Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Former KKR teammate Yusuf Pathan will join Manish in their move down south in Hyderabad. Pandey had a couple of successful outing in the recently concluded India-South Africa T20I series.

MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey took India to a decent total in the second T20I at Centurion recently. Nanital-born Manish, in a press conference post the second match at Centurion suggested he can contribute more to Indian cricket.
