Australia’s young prodigy, Marnus Labuschagne has expressed his desire to host the Indian cricket team in Australia in October. Marnus Labuschagne has been one of Australia’s recent stars in global cricket, especially in Test cricket. Team India is scheduled to tour Australia from October 2020 to January 2021 to play four Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The T20I fixtures are scheduled to take place ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

However, with the global outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, speculations are surrounding the bilateral series. There have also been speculations over the T20 World Cup. However, as per recent media reports, the ICC is on board with the planned schedule of the tournament, and it does not desire to postpone it.

Marnus Labuschagne Hopeful Of Hosting India On Time:

“Australia has done very well with the quarantine and isolation, so we’ve been able to get our number down relatively quickly. With a limited amount of deaths and our healthcare system has been so good during this time,” Marnus Labuschange said.

“Hopefully because of all that good work we can actually get India over here in 3-4 months or 4-5 months. Everything is changing so quickly so it’s really hard to put my finger on how everything’s going to pan out. Hopefully, it does pan out well but if it doesn’t it will be very disappointing,” Marnus Labusachgne added.
