Lara, the former West Indi captain, needs no introduction. A member of the team when West Indies cricket was at its best, Lara led them in 47 Tests and 125 ODIs. He holds the record of highest Test score by a batsman – Lara scored 400* in a Test match against England in 2004.

Bevan, the former Australia batsman, was known to be one of the best finishers during his career. He retired with an average of 53.58 in ODIs with 56912 runs in 196 innings. He also bowled part-time left-arm spin.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, he is one of the shortlisted candidates for the job of head coach of Kings XI Punjab. Though it is unlikely that Hussey will make a switch if offered a position as CSK do not make rapid changes to their support staff. It is evident from the fact that Stephen Fleming has been part of the team right from 2008.
