Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has picked a combined team of India-Pakistan in One Day International format. Vaughan has selected six Indian players and five Pakistan players in his dream team. India’s former skipper MS Dhoni leads the combined team of Michael Vaughan.

Meanwhile, former legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag are the openers in the side. Tendulkar was the greatest ever batsman whereas Sehwag was well known for his explosive batting. India’s current captain Virat Kohli takes the number three position. Kohli is the most consistent as well as the best batsman in the world.

Furthermore, former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq bats at number four position. The right-hander was a consistent performer for Pakistan. Moreover, Javed Miandad bats at the number five position in the team. Miandad is one of the most successful Pakistan batters of all time.

On the other hand, former Indian captain MS Dhoni takes the sixth position in the team. Dhoni is regarded as one of the best finishers, wicket-keepers and captains of the game. The right-hander is also chosen to lead the side by Michael Vaughan.

The current Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan bats at number seven position. Imran Khan had inspired Pakistan to famous victory in the 1992 World Cup and he is regarded as Pakistan’s best ever skipper.

Dhoni is the captain.

The king of swing Wasim Akram also makes the cut into the team. Akram was known for his accurate bowling and breathed down the neck of the best in the business. Anil Kumble who was always right on the money with his leg-spin gets a place in the team. India’s rising star Jasprit Bumrah is the youngest player in terms of matches in this team. Waqar Younis who made headlines with his reverse swing is the 11th player of the team.

India and Pakistan will meet in the 22nd match of the ICC World Cup 2019 tomorrow at Manchester.
