Well, here comes the first prediction for the upcoming ICC T20I World Cup 2020. We often come across experts and the former cricketers revealing their prediction whenever a big tournament is nearing to get underway. Now, with ICC T20I World Cup 2020 on its way, the former skipper of England Michael Vaughan revealed his predictions for the prestigious event.

It is still 11 months away, but former England skipper Michael Vaughan has made his early T20 World Cup predictions for next year. The impending T20 World Cup will be held in 2020 in Australia starting October 8. The format for next year’s T20 World Cup will be different from its previous editions.

Revealing his predictions, Michael Vaughan quoted that the hosts Australian Cricket Team led by Aaron Finch or the champions of the ICC World Cup 2019, England will be the winners of the tournaments. He revealed it via his Twitter Panel, which has witnessed many controversies.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Early T20 World Cup prediction … England or Australia will be winning it … #JustSaying,” tweeted Vaughan after England sealing the series in New Zealand against the home side in a thrilling manner.

Vaughan’s comment came after England win against New Zealand in the fifth T20I on Sunday. England, the present world champions, got the better off the Kiwis in the Super Over in the series decider. England won 3-2 in the contest.

Meanwhile, for Australia, they recently wrapped up an impressive 2019 in T20Is having lost only one out of the total nine matches they played this year. In the next, both the teams will play a longer version of the game.

The top 8 teams as per the ICC T20I rankings On December 31st, 2018 got a direct entry into the world cup. The regular nations to miss out are Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, who needs to play the qualifier round to enter into the Super 12 phase of the tournament.
