The cricketing world is currently busy talking about the much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan in the World Cup. The high-voltage clash will take place in Manchester on Sunday (June 16). And with just a day left before the game gets underway, former England skipper Michael Vaughan has revealed his all-time India-Pakistan Combined XI.

Speaking to Cricbuzz, the ex-cricketer-turned-commentator made it clear that his selection might upset a few before he revealed the names. Some notable names missed out from the team but one just cannot question the team that Vaughan has compiled. For the opening slots, Vaughan picked up the legendary duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.

At number three, Michael Vaughan picked up current India skipper Virat Kohli and hailed him as the greatest-ever player in white-ball format. Kohli is one of the three active players who featured in Vaughan’s team. At number four, he went for former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq before picking Javed Miandad.

Vaughan went for MS Dhoni at number six as the wicketkeeper batsman in the team. He also called him the Captain Cool and perhaps made him the captain of the star-studded side. Dhoni guided India to the World Cup glory in 2011 and also led India to two wins over Pakistan in the World Cup. Vaughan went for former Pakistan skipper Imran Khan at number seven. Imran Khan is still the only captain to have led Pakistan to World Cup triumph. He led the Men in Green to glory in 1992.
