Mohammed Shami Wants to Win Australia ODIs and Dedicate it to CRPF Jawans
India’s gun fast bowler Mohammed Shami wants to win the series against Australia and dedicate the same to the martyred CRPF jawans. Shami who has come forward with his helping hand wants to give the series triumph as a token of respect. In fact, Mohammed Shami has already donated INR Five lakhs to the families of the martyred CRPF jawans.
Shami said that jawans put their life at risk for them and they are the real-life heroes. Whatever we can do to help the families of the victims, we should come forward to their help. Shami paid his condolence for the families of the jawans who have suffered a huge loss of life.
“It’s very upsetting to hear about the tragic events that happened in Pulwama. They risk their lives at the borders so we Indians can sleep safely. It’s the least we can do by contributing to help the families who have lost their loved ones and we will always be by their side,” Shami told IndiaTV.
“It’s our responsibility to give back for the amount they have done for us. We Indians are safe because they’re risking their lives 24×7,” Shami added.
In fact, the whole cricket fraternity has come in support of the 42 martyred jawans of the Pulwama attack. It was a brutal attack from the terrorists when a jeep carrying all but 300kg of explosive bumped into a convoy of CRPF jawans.
“As cricketers, we try our level best to go and meet the jawans who are out there. Their morale is boosted thinking that there are people who care about them. We hope to meet the families and help them feel that the entire country is with them.”
“Please don’t ever feel alone because there are millions who are at your side at the moment. From the bottom of our hearts we salute you.”
“We will do everything we can to get a series win and dedicate it to the soldiers”.
Virender Sehwag has decided to fund the education of the children of the martyred soldiers. Furthermore, Shikhar Dhawan has also decided to donate for the noble cause. Vidarbha who won the Irani Cup has also given their prize money to the sufferers.
On the other hand, Mohammed Shami had a sublime ODI series against New Zealand. Shami bowled with great control against New Zealand and he would like to continue the same form against Australia.
