Over the years, we came across many cricketers taking the captaincy role for their respective nations in the game of cricket. However, only a few of them were succeeded in ruling the charts. Off all those captains, the former England cricketer Michael Vaughan picked the Indian former skipper MS Dhoni as the best white-ball skipper he has ever seen.

Speaking to Times of India, Michael Vaughan feels that Kane Williamson is one of the best skippers at the moment in international cricket. Vaughan feels that Williamson is blessed to lead the team without much fuss. He added that Kane Williamson can lead any kind of team to the pinnacle with his best skills.

Further, he called Eoin Morgan as a revelation in the ODI format of the game at present. Then, he continued to hail MS Dhoni, who he feels the best in his era of cricket. On a concluding note, he praised Virat Kohli, who leads the team as an example full of energy on the field, especially, in Test format.

“Kane Williamson is outstanding. has the gift to lead without having to say too much. He can manoeuvre his team in a sensible way and not a noisy way. Everyone realizes he is the leader, the power. Eoin Morgan was a revelation in 50-over cricket.,” Vaughan was quoted as saying in an interview with the Times of India.

“MS Dhoni doesn’t do international captaincy anymore but in our era, Dhoni is the best white-ball captain I have seen…the way he manoeuvres from behind the stump just reads the play, thinks out of the box, handles the pressure card and is also great with the bat. In Tests, Virat Kohli is busy, energetic, a brilliant batsman, full of life. I like the way he captains,” Vaughan added.

He led the Indian team with a brilliant winning-rate.
