Former Indian captain MS Dhoni seems to hit the headlines or hog the limelight despite staying detached from the sport. The former Indian captain is one of the most influential cricketers of this generation, having played a significant role in the development of many players. However, away from cricketing action, MS Dhoni engaged himself in an entirely different hobby.

The 38-year-old last appeared on the 22-yeard strip in the 2019 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand in July. MS Dhoni departed for a fighting half-century as Martin Guptill fired a throw from behind square to run him out.

With that dismissal, India’s hopes of reaching the final also crashed. As far as his playing future is concerned, the Jharkhand cricketer has maintained his silence on the same.

Nevertheless, the World Cup-winning captain was gearing himself to take part in the 13th season of the IPL to press his case for the World T20 in Australia later this year.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the lucrative tournament to be postponed indefinitely. At the same time, the fate of the T20 World Cup and MS Dhoni’s future also hangs in the balance.

MS Dhoni resorts himself to a new hobby in Ranchi:

Coming to the veteran keeper-batsman’s new activity, he was seen in his Ranchi farmhouse performing organic farming. His official fan page in Instagram posted the video where he enjoyed himself doing the same.

While the Jharkhand-cricketer has not stayed actively over social media, his wife Sakshi keeps sharing some glimpses of the former skipper. Earlier, she came forward and rubbished rumours of Dhoni retiring from international cricket with immediate effect.
