Former India skipper MS Dhoni is currently posted in Jammu & Kashmir serving for his battalion in Territorial Army. He completed his army stint earlier today in Leh and caught the flight back home. Meanwhile, before heading back, the legendary cricketer was seen playing cricket with the young children in the newly formed Union Territory Leh.

Dhoni is currently on a two-month break from cricket after a dismal ICC World Cup 2019 campaign. MS Dhoni received severe criticism from the fan and former cricketer for his slow batting which has hurt the team badly. There were speculations that he might retire from cricket, but there have been no indications of that as of yet. However, as per popular perception, the Jharkhand-born cricketer who is in the twilight of his career will be with the team till the World T20 next year and help young Rishabh Pant groom before bidding farewell to the game.

MS Dhoni has had an eventful time with the army and played different kinds of sports, including volleyball and cricket. Recently, he was seen playing with the young kids in Leh. Dhoni has also promised to open a cricket academy in Ladakh. Reports say that the former skipper will formally tell the Sports Ministry about his plans to open an academy in Kashmir in the near future.

Meanwhile, India are currently playing against the West Indies. They have already clinched the T20I and the ODI series. The two-match Test series will commence from August 22 which will also be a part of the World Test Championship. MS Dhoni is likely to return to action in the upcoming series against South Africa. The Men in Blues will play three T20Is and Tests each starting from September 15.
